Okinbaloye’s post read: “Back on the Grind…. #vacationmode over. Let’s meet tonight at 7pm on @channelstv. GWG.ng reports that this announcement follows a period of rampant speculation on social media suggesting that Okinbaloye had left Channels TV. These rumors were previously debunked by Professor Farooq Kperogi, a respected figure in Mass Communication and a well-known columnist, who shared details of a personal conversation with Okinbaloye. According to Kperogi, Okinbaloye confirmed that he was on vacation in the United States and remained an employee of Channels TV.

Kperogi had posted on Facebook: “Channels TV’s Seun Okinbaloye has NOT been fired, contrary to social media rumors making the rounds. I communicated with him a few hours ago, and he said he is on vacation here in the United States and still very much in the employ of Channels TV. ‘Prof, the whole story is fake news,’ he said.”

With Okinbaloye’s direct communication now reinforcing these clarifications, viewers can rest assured that he remains a pivotal part of the Channels TV team. His return to “Politics Today” is highly anticipated, with his promise of a significant announcement adding to the excitement.
