According to the woman, the incident occurred when her roommate saw her chatting with her boyfriend behind her back. The roommate, suspecting an affair, reacted violently by pouring hot water on her. However, the real reason for the conversation was entirely innocent ā they were planning a surprise for the roommate’s birthday.
The woman expressed her disbelief and pain over the incident, saying, “Life didnāt end when my roommate poured hot water on my face just because she caught me chatting with her boyfriend, not knowing we were planning a surprise for her birthday.”
