Outrage As Reno Urges Lagos Govt To Transport ‘Ndigbo’ To Their States For Nationwide Protest
In a sarcastic statement, controversial political social media influencer, Reno Omokri has asked the Lagos State Government to provide free transportation for all Lagos residents, specifically Ndigbos to go and protest in their states of origin.
Reno, who suggested this in a post on his Official X handle on Thursday said, “I encourage the Lagos State Government to support the planned protests by providing free transportation for all Lagos residents wishing to protest. The buses will take them to their states of origin.
“How can you be from Abia, where the State Government is owing workers several months’ salaries, and owes pensioners, and you want to protest in Lagos that pays its workers above minimum wage and does not owe salaries?”
Further taking a swipe on Ndibgbo, he said, “Monday sit-at-home chased you from your states to Lagos. Unknown Gunmen made you relocate to Lagos. Low wages made you feel free to flee to Lagos.”
“And now, after settling down in peaceful and prosperous Lagos, you want to do in Eko what you could not do in your home state? Mba! Except your State Government has done what Lagos has not done for you, you should go there and protest.”

GWG.ng reports that in the past days, many Igbo individuals and groups have vehemently stated that they are not participating in the nationwide protest billed for August.
The planned nationwide protest against the economic challenges in the nation is scheduled for ten days begining from August 1.
