In an interview with former skit maker Bae-U, veteran Nollywood actor Jide Kosoko shared his thoughts on the Bola Tinubu administration and voting rights, stirring mixed reactions among Nigerians.

Jide Kosoko affirmed that he willingly voted for President Bola Tinubu, emphasizing that no one was coerced into supporting the president. He praised Tinubu’s efforts, stating, “President Tinubu is working well. If people understood the complexities of repairing a country, they would appreciate him more.”

When Bae-U questioned whether Kosoko’s vote was influenced by Tinubu’s Yoruba heritage and his fondness for traditional ‘Agbada’ attire, the actor clarified his stance. “I voted for Tinubu because I have known him for a long time,” he explained, adding that Tinubu was a significant figure in the fight for Nigeria’s democracy.
