BREAKING: Tinubu Signs New Minimum Wage Bill Into Law

Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Monday, signed the much awaited new Minimum Wage Bill into law.

GWG.ng gathered that Tinubu signed the bill at 2 pm at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The brief ceremony was witnessed by the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, and Deputy Senate President, Barau Jibrin, among others.

Recall that on Tuesday, President Tinubu had sent the new national minimum wage bill to the National Assembly for consideration and approval.

The President’s letter, conveying his request to the lawmakers, was read during the plenary of the House of Representatives on Tuesday.
