Controversial BBL Surgeon, Dr. Anu, Reportedly Passes On (Video)

Nigerian Plastic surgeon, Dr. Anu Adepoju,  specialized in Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedures, has allegedly passed away.

Reports making the rounds on social media allege that Dr Anu, the founder of MedContour Services Ltd, passed away after a protracted undisclosed illness.

In a video posted by a popular Instagram tabloid, Dr. Anu was seen in the hospital during her final days.

The video came along with a caption which reads, “Hmmmm Dr Anu before she passed on. Can you see the arm? Stay are from her cockt@il dr#gs and some of you were calling Cutie a hater. Just look at what the cocktails she prepares herself and sell to people did to her. How can anyone in sane accept to buy same dr#gs from her.

Recall that in May, the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos State convicted Dr Anu who conducted a failed plastic surgery that resulted in the death of one Nneka Onwuzuligbo in 2020.

Tunde Irukera who was the Director-General of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission at that time had tweeted, “Today is a day of pride for me that I prosecuted Anu Adepoju and her medical practice. Though I’ve left, the case has ended in a conviction strengthening the accountability framework for all in society, professionals or otherwise. This is how society should work and grow.

“Dr. Anu Adepoju and her medical practice convicted in all 5 counts charged by FCCPC. The wheel of justice may grind slowly, but we must see it through. What we need are enforced with audacity and the will to prosecute competently and diligently. Good day for consumers of professional services.”

The news of Dr Anu’s alleged death is presently trending on the internet, prompting mixed emotions from online users.

While many are still in doubt and in shock over her death, one of her customers identified as @omohtee12 on X tweeted, “That babe was also soft-spoken, you would never believe she was capable for so much evil. Gosh.

“I’m crying typing this. Nothing wey she and her … no do but I know know who/people that were praying to me but GOD DID. Anu is finally dead. Rotten in hell omo oshi.”

In a later post, she added, “I  Dr anu, your soul will not rest in peace.”

At the time of filling this report, an official statement was yet to be released on the development.
