Final Year Nigerian Student Dies Day Before Final Defense

The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) community has been thrown into mourning after a final year student of the institution passed away.

According to a friend of the deceased, the UNILORIN final year student passed away a day to her final departmental project defense.

The deceased’s friend identified as @JoyZainab1 on X tweeted, “My friend passed away just a few hours ago. It’s really hurting everyone right now.

And our final project defense is tomorrow. After all the struggles and pains we’ve been through.

“May Almighty Allah forgive her sins. Please, if you come across this, say a dua’a for her.”

The harrowing passing of the final year student has since caused mourning within the school community and questions from the online community, as to the true meaning of life.
