Real Drama As Female Protester Echoes Tinubu, Akpabio During Lagos Protest (Video)
A bold female protester in Lagos shocked many when she said she was not afraid to die recalling the fate of some #EndSars protesters who she said died during the Lekki Tollgate carnage in 2020 as she echoed the words of President Bola Tinubu and Senator Godswill Akpabio
She said this during an interview session while she was asked whether she was apprehensive that there could be a recurrence of the bloodshed that occurred during the 2020 ENDSARS protest at Lekki Tollgate, with the presence of soldiers in her protest location.
In response, the Lagos protester asked, “People that died at the Lekki Tollgate, are we better than them? We are not better than them. I’m not scared. Yes, I’m not scared.” She added, “Na life we de live?”
While lamenting about the hardship in the nation she said,”You cannot pay house rents in Lagos. Ten people inside one room. People are suffering. People are hungry. And I’m happy that the senate president, telling us that he will be in the house eating while we are protesting.
“You are approving budgets of billions upon billions. You are buying jets for the president and people cannot afford transport fare. That is wickedness. And you still say they should not protest.”
On the Lagos protester’s shirt was written, a quote by President Bola Tinubu.
“Police do not attack protesters. Your children are involved. That is what the president said. Your lives are involved. Your children’s future lies here.”
She added, “we are wearing it as a reminder to the police. As you can see, they are even more hungry than us.”
