Portable Under Fire After Criticizing #EndBadGovernance Protesters (Video)
Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, known as Portable, has sparked outrage on social media after labeling #EndBadGovernance protesters as “poor and lazy.”
In a video circulating online, Portable addressed the ongoing nationwide protest that began on August 1st. He responded to critics who reminded him of his participation in the EndSARS protests, explaining that he joined the movement back then because he was struggling financially. Now, he claims, those protesting are doing so out of joblessness.
“You don’t have work. That’s why you’re protesting. Fight for yourself. Poor man thinking is protest. Most of the end bad governance protesters are poor and lazy people,” Portable declared.
