A video capturing a beautiful sight of protesters cleaning up their protest ground in Plateau State has emerged exemplifying the positive attributes of the protest against hunger and hardship in Nigeria.

The nationwide protest which kicked off on August 1 was purposed to make the Federal Government address challenges such as corruption, insecurity, inflation, and other forms of bad governance that have foisted hardship on the majority of Nigerians.

In the viral video which was seen by GWG.ng on X.com, protesters were seen sweeping their protest ground after the protest of the day somewhere in Jos in Plateau State.

One of the Plateau protesters said,  “The protest is over for today and we are sweeping the ground so we can come back here tomorrow.

“Great plateau youths, you have done very, very well,” he hailed.

The protester said the protest has been peaceful and violence-free in Plateau state.

“All other road users have accessed the roads they pass and go safely. We are not going to allow it to be violent.

“We are not going to allow anybody to destroy anything on the plateau.

We are peaceful people. It must be peaceful,” he said.
