Kaduna Protesters Calling For Military Rule – Shehu Sani

Published

on

Former Kaduna Central Senator Shehu Sani has reported that protesters in the state are calling for the overthrow of the civilian government.

Sani said protesters are looting banks and vandalizing vehicles while demanding a return to civilian rule.

Posting on X, the sociopolitical activist expressed concern that protesters were brandishing Russian flags.

According to Sani: “Banks looted, vehicles smashed, government offices looted and vandalised. Russian flags raised with a loud call for the overthrow of the Civilian Government and return to military rule; this is the situation of our Kaduna ‘peaceful’ protest.”

Nigerians have been protesting against the current hardship in the country under the aegis of EndBadGovernance In Nigeria. Despite calls for the protest to be peaceful, several casualties have been recorded across the country.

See some reactions below:

@Udoh_D: “Yet for once, you haven’t spoken about the plight of suffering Nigerians. You are either calling for them to stop protesting and engage in dialogue with the government or speaking in favor of the government. We know where you truly stand; just stop the disguise.”
@souqueasnaf: “The hand work of failed politicians with failed ambitions, God is watching.”

@Osunfirstson: “Look at what you just posted Senator, does it make any sense to you?”

@African_unifier: “If you and your co-politicians laid a good foundation for the country and citizens I bet all these wouldn’t be happening .”

@spoiltkid: “APC knows the demand of protesters.
Why not attend to it and see all the mess they triggered go low?
I don’t think there is any amount of reaction from the people that would be equal to what they have been subjugated to by the failed Tinubu’s administration. “

@EditiPeter: “When the northen politicians denied them access to school, were they expecting them to become Einstein?”

@gabriel_bolatit: “It’s not a peaceful protest but a call for chaos and anarchy in the country those young are just the tools they are using the main actors are somewhere calculating 😆 🤣 😂”

@Farouq__SG: “Had it been the Presidential broadcast was powerful enough, had it been it was promising and convincing, this wouldn’t have happened in Kaduna. The Presidency took the situation as a joke, we tried to warn them to take it serious but the National broadcast was like a mockery.”

@Unwanaassam1: “The Russian flags raised mean what?”

@Nithsmit: “Which banks”

@ikecenaexcel: “And they were understood softly hence it is not in Igbo land
They are agitating for…”
