Protester Plotting Arson On Atiku’s, ‘Big Men’s’ Houses Arrested (Video)
The Nigerian police have arrested and detained a Jos protester who took to social media to incite violence by calling for the destruction of lives and property during the ongoing nationwide protest against hunger and bad governance.
Among the targets of the protester were houses of big men including that of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
Prince Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the police Force Public Relations Officer, Headquarters, Abuja, who posted the video on his official X handle in the early hours of Monday morning, confirmed the arrest of the protester in a statement saying, “Under investigation. In our custody for inciting violence. Does this make any sense?”
GWG.ng noted that in the viral video, the protester enumerated plans to burn down filling stations, markets, bakeries police stations and barracks in Jos.
He said if the demands of protesters are not met, then they should attack big men in Rayfield, Jos.
The video quickly drew the attention of the Nigerian police who swiftly arrested and detained the said protester.
