Police Arrest Man Who Stabbed Girlfriend 22 Times To Death

In a new development, Fatai Mogaji, suspected to have gruesomely murdered his ex-girlfriend, Opeyemi, has been caught and arrested by the Lagos State Police Command.

The sister of the deceased had earlier raised the alarm that Mogaji allegedly st@bbed late Opeyemi multiple times before she died.

According to her, Opeyemi reunited with Mogaji, on July 10, 2024, at a club in the Ikorodu area of Lagos state and they went to chill together.

At about 5am, they got into an argument and Mogaji allegedly st@bbed Opeyemi 22 times in different parts of her body.

Late Opeyemi’s sister, who confirmed the latest development in a post on X said Mogaji was caught in a bar in Ikorodu and has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID), Panti, Yaba.

“Good evening Friends, My sister’s killer (Fatai Mogaji Abdulsalam) was caught last night at F1 Bar Ikorodu by well-wishers and Ope’s friends. He has been moved to Panti Police Station,” she wrote.
