Solidstar Announces Engagement After Overcoming Personal Struggles

After a period of tumult, music star, Solidstar appears to have turned the bend in his personal life with the announcement of his engagement.

Joshua Iniyezo, popularly known as Solidstar, has announced his engagement to his fiancée.

The singer shared the happy news on his social media page on Tuesday, posting a photo of the engagement ring on his partner’s finger. In his post, he praised her, calling her a “good woman” and adding, “Good woman no dey easy to find.”

In recent memory, Solidstar faced some personal challenges. In August 2023, he was seen in a concerning state, appearing unkempt and wandering aimlessly on the street. This video was shared by his brother Joseph, who revealed that Solidstar was battling drug addiction, which was significantly impacting his life.

However, by March 2024, Solidstar addressed his struggles and shared that he had made significant changes to his lifestyle, including quitting smoking and drinking alcohol.

Solidstar’s musical journey began early, starting as a drummer for a church in his hometown in Delta State when he was just 14. His professional music career took off after he was discovered at a talent show in Ajegunle, Lagos.
