The Police have released the guber candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in Ondo State, Kunle Wizeman Ajayi, and five others detained for participating in the  #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protests.

GWG.ng earlier reported that the Nigerian Police arrested Ajayi, Patrick Owolabi, and the other five who are members of the ‘Take It Back’ (TIB) movement, during the grand finale of the #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protest in Akure, Ondo State.

The TIB Movement had vehemently condemned the police actions, demanding the immediate and unconditional release of Ajayi and Owolabi.

In a post on Sunday night, a prominent member of the TIB movement, Omoleye Sowore, confirmed the release of Ajayi and five others.
