Psquare Family Feud Escalates as Wife Enters Battle

The ongoing rift between the Okoye brothers, Peter and Paul, known as Psquare, has reportedly extended to their wives, with Ify Okoye, the wife of their elder brother Jude, unfollowing Peter’s wife, Lola Omotayo Okoye, on Instagram.

A recent check of Ify’s Instagram account revealed that she had severed her online connection with Lola, though Lola continues to follow her.

This development adds a new layer to the already tense situation within the Okoye family. Last year, in June, controversial blogger Stella Dimokokorkus reported a brewing conflict between the Psquare brothers and their elder sibling, Jude Okoye. The dispute allegedly stemmed from accusations that Jude was diverting joint funds, leading to his detention by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

In July, Instagram blogger Cutie Juls further fueled the fire by alleging that both Paul and Jude Okoye had been arrested by the EFCC. Paul later confirmed this on Instagram, expressing relief after being cleared of all charges following a thorough investigation. He claimed that Peter was behind the arrests of both him and Jude.

On Monday, Peter responded to these allegations, denying that he had orchestrated his twin brother’s arrest. He clarified that he had only filed a petition with the EFCC against Jude after discovering that their elder brother was diverting their funds into a secret account shared with his wife. Peter emphasized that his intention was not to implicate Paul but to address the financial misconduct.

As tensions escalate, netizens have rallied behind Lola Omotayo Okoye, commending her for maintaining her composure amid the ongoing drama.

This renewed feud comes just two years after the Okoye brothers reconciled following a bitter fallout that lasted five years. In December 2021, the internet buzzed with excitement as Psquare mended their relationship, with the brothers following each other on social media and spending time together. Now, however, it seems the harmony was short-lived as the family finds itself embroiled in yet another public dispute.
