The draw for the second round of the Carabao Cup was confirmed on Wednesday night, August 14, 2024.

This stage of the competition will see a mix of Premier League and EFL clubs battling it out in what promises to be an exciting series of matches. The standout tie of the round is Nottingham Forest hosting Newcastle United.

The Carabao Cup, known for its thrilling knockout format, began this week with 70 clubs from across the English Football League (EFL) competing in first-round matches.

The winners of these fixtures are now joined by the 13 Premier League teams not involved in European competitions, as well as Luton Town and Burnley.
