Controversial Singer Portable Attacked, Team Members Missing After Assault (Video)

Controversial Nigerian singer, Portable, has reportedly been attacked by a group of men in Iju Ishaga, Lagos.

Portable took to social media to share a video of himself at home with his wife, visibly in pain as he recounted the harrowing incident of how he was attacked.

According to Portable, he was attacked when he went to celebrate with a friend who sells cars in the area. What was meant to be a joyous occasion turned violent when Portable and his entourage were ambushed. The singer managed to escape, but some of his team members remain unaccounted for. Portable also revealed that two iPhones and his ATM card were stolen during the assault. He described his attackers as “evil,” recalling a similar incident in the past where he was robbed of his ice chain and gold earring.

In his own words, Portable said, “Wahala big palava around Iju Ishaga. We went to celebrate with @lincon_orn who sells cars… In the area where we were having the show, we were ambushed by some local thugs. Zeh Nation boys are still missing. They attacked my boys after I escaped… @lincon_orn should help tell those guys to return @iam_sexyshay’s 2 iPhones and my ATM card. We’ve found @dullarboi’s phones and car, but we still can’t find him… I haven’t seen @bamidola_ either, we heard they attacked him. These are my artists who are missing. God won’t let us down. These people are evil, just like when they took my ice chain and gold earring after I showed them love and gave them all my money. Are they fans or enemies?”

This incident comes months after Portable was allegedly attacked and beaten up by Nigerian-American singer, Esquare, after failing to perform at their show. Portable claimed that he was attacked by a group of 40 people, leaving him with a broken leg. Despite the overwhelming evidence, Portable expressed frustration at the lack of justice, questioning if Nigerians only fight for the dead.

As of now, Portable’s missing team members are still unaccounted for, and the singer is calling for their safe return.
