Baba Fryo Accuses Nasboi Of Lifting Lyrics (Video)

Veteran Nigerian musician, Baba Fryo, has publicly called out singer and skitmaker Nasboi, accusing him of allegedly lifting lyrics from his famous hit song, “Denge Pose.”

In a now-viral video circulating on social media, Fryo expressed his frustration, insisting that Nasboi properly acknowledge his contribution and compensate him accordingly.

The dispute arose after Nasboi dropped his latest track titled “Short Skirt.”

Baba Fryo also issued a stern warning, advising Nasboi to get in touch with him before he takes further steps. Speaking in pidgin English, Fryo stated, “Nigerians, I greet una. This thing don dey happen e don tey. And I was not happy with it. But now I want to take action.

“You see that song wey Naboi sings about ‘short skirt’. My lyrics ‘Dengo dey denge Denge’ are inside the verse. So, anybody wey know Naboi should tell him to reach out to me before water go pass geri.

“As you are looking at me, I’m not happy but this one must be the last time that anyone will use my song without telling me. You people should tell him to reach out to me before I take action.”
