Tears Of Joy As Students Escape Bus Fire Incident Few Days To Graduation (video)
In a pool of emotions, a Nigerian lady, Akintade Adepen, has narrated how she and her friend narrowly escaped death after the commercial bus they boarded caught fire in Lagos a few weeks to their graduation from the university
Adepen who shared her ecstatic experience on social media, said they had boarded a Bus to Oshodi to pick up fabrics for their final year graduation party.
She said the bus exploded with fire just before the bridge.
A video she posted alongside her caption, showed some passengers in a chaotic scenerio jumping out of the burning vehicle while people pulled others out.
“God did this !!! Honestly we still can’t phantom how we are still alive today,” she wrote. “Few weeks back as part of the final year committee. We had to go and pick cloth (Ankara) for our Owambe party
“Na so we enter bus go Oshodi and from there we decided to also check out Lagos so that we will know we weighed all our options.
“That’s how we boarded this bus at Oshodi (bolade) just before the bridge and the bus caught right before the bridge.
“How we jumped out we don’t know. How we are still here today we can’t comprehend. How that fire that blasted. It is definitely not by our power. Not by our might. Not by who run down pass
“In that moment as I was shaking I asked Olamide to make a video. I would usually not do that but I don’t know what pushed it. I believe that whatever it is wants us to share our testimony
“Which is why we are doing this to remind somebody somewhere that God is always God even in our unfaithfulness. He never fails to. God kept us. He made sure that we stayed alive to witness our sign out and many more.
“For us this sign out is not just graduating from school. It is God showing himself that he is the author and finisher of our faith. In case you see us undignified. No vex. It’s because the number of our scars are the number of our testimonies.”
