The news of the academic attainment of a doctorate by Emir Sanusi was shared by Kadaria Ahmed, the Chief Executive Officer of RadioNow 95.3FM, in a Facebook post. Ahmed revealed that the examiners approved Sanusi’s PhD thesis without requiring any amendments or corrections—a rare and commendable outcome.

The Viva Voce, an essential component of the PhD journey, requires candidates to present and defend their research findings before a panel of academic experts. This milestone reflects not only the depth of the Emir’s scholarship but also his commitment to advancing knowledge in his chosen field of study.

In her post, Ahmed expressed her joy and pride on the doctorate presentation by Emir Sanusi, stating, “Happy to report, our Khalifa, our King, HRH Muhammadu Sanusi II, is now also a Doctor, having successfully completed his Viva Voce. His PhD was approved as submitted without any amendments or corrections. The examiners said, ‘Congratulations, Dr. Sanusi!’ I am delighted to join them in congratulating Mai Martaba. Alhamdulillah.”
