Nigerians Differ As Widow Directs Husband’s Dry Cleaner To Collect Unpaid Bill From Him In The Mortuary (Video)

A Nigerian widow has expressed shock over the lack of empathy shown by her late husband’s dry cleaner after learning about his death.

According to the Nigerian widow who shared her unpleasant experience on TikTok, the dry cleaner had sent his boy to deliver the lady’s husband’s clothes to their home.

Upon learning about the death of the lady’s husband through his boy, the dry cleaner still sent back his boy to collect the money for the dry cleaned clothes.

In her words, “So a few days after my husband died, his dry cleaner sent his boy to the house to deliver the clothes that my husband gave him to wash before he died.

“When the boy came, he was told that my husband was no more. So he left us with the clothes and went back to tell his master the bad news.

“The master told him to come back and collect the money. Hey, which money? I lost it on him. We’ve not buried him. He’s still at the mortuary at St. Teresa. Go there, give him his clothes and collect your money.

“It didn’t make any sense. I couldn’t understand, someone died, count your losses and move on. Who is supposed to pay you? What was I supposed to do with the clothes?”
