Obi, 37, made the statement during his Monday podcast, The Obi One. His comments followed his earlier criticism of Jackson during Chelsea’s 2-0 loss to Manchester City last weekend, where he questioned the striker’s finishing skills on beIN Sport. Obi had commented, “We created chances, but we haven’t taken them. Just look at how Jackson finishes.”
Jackson didn’t take the critique lightly, responding with a fiery post on Instagram: “Mikel Obi, shut your mouth, don’t talk sh*t, we are killing ourselves for Africa.”
