Verydarkman Criticizes Chidimma Adetshina’s Victory in Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 (Video)

Controversial critic, Verydarkman, has voiced his disapproval following the crowning of South African model Chidimma Adetshina as Miss Universe Nigeria 2024.

Chidimma, who recently faced intense backlash after participating in the Miss South Africa 2024 pageant, was forced to withdraw from the competition due to multiple reasons. Despite the controversy, she emerged victorious over 24 other contestants in the Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 pageant, a result that has sparked mixed reactions.

In a recent video, Verydarkman expressed his belief that Chidimma’s win was not based on merit but rather on sympathy. According to him, awarding her the title undermines the hard work and dedication of the other contestants who had been preparing for the competition all year.

“Just because the girl had some issues in South Africa, you bring her to Nigeria and make her Miss Universe. What about the people who have been preparing for this for a long time? You gave her the crown out of pity, not merit; this is not fair,” Verydarkman stated.

He further criticized Chidimma for her inability to speak the language of the state she represented, Taraba, despite her Nigerian heritage. Verydarkman also pointed out that her only reason for visiting Nigeria was due to the controversy surrounding her in South Africa, questioning the authenticity of her participation and victory in the pageant.
