A viral video featuring Nollywood actor Alex Ekubo’s awkward attempt to greet billionaire businessman Aliko Dangote has sparked widespread reactions on social media.

The clip, originally posted on Obi Cubana’s Instagram page, shows Alex Ekubo, along with Obi Cubana and fellow actor IK Ogbonna, meeting Dangote and Femi Otedola at a foreign hotel.

In the video, Obi Cubana can be seen warmly exchanging pleasantries with Dangote. Following this, Alex Ekubo tries to join in by extending his hand for a handshake with the billionaire. However, his gesture goes unnoticed as Dangote’s attention remains focused on Obi Cubana. Some viewers of the video argue that Dangote did, in fact, acknowledge Ekubo but that Otedola inadvertently blocked the handshake. Others expressed sympathy for the actor, noting the awkwardness of the situation.
