Private Jet Waiting For Osimhen As New Transfer Deal From Napoli Is Agreed

Nigerian football star Victor Osimhen has reportedly agreed to join Turkish giants Galatasaray, potentially bringing an end to the uncertainty surrounding his transfer from Napoli.

The 25-year-old Osimhen who has been embroiled in a transfer controversy with his current club following a social media incident last season, is now on the brink of a move that could revive his career.

Osimhen, who had been linked with high-profile transfer deals to Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli and Premier League club Chelsea, saw both deals fall through earlier this summer. Paris Saint-Germain also expressed interest in the Super Eagles striker, but no agreement was reached.

According to recent reports, Osimhen has now agreed to a loan transfer to Galatasaray, although he is negotiating revisions to his existing contract with Napoli. Sources indicate that Galatasaray has already arranged a private jet to transport the player to Turkey, pending final agreement on the terms.

Renowned football journalist Fabrizio Romano shed light on the ongoing transfer discussions, revealing that Osimhen has accepted the move but is demanding key adjustments to his Napoli contract. “Victor Osimhen has accepted to join Galatasaray on loan. He’s now asking for his release clause at Napoli to be reduced from €130 million to €75 million. He also wants a break clause for January in case top clubs approach him for a move,” Romano reported.

The loan deal, which does not include a buy option or obligation, will see Galatasaray cover Osimhen’s salary, reportedly between €9-10 million, until the end of the season. This move comes as a crucial step for Osimhen, who has faced a turbulent period at Napoli.

In addition to his club commitments, the transfer deal is expected to make room for Osimhen to join his Nigerian teammates for the upcoming international qualifiers this month, marking a new chapter in his career. As fans and pundits alike watch closely, the move to Galatasaray could provide the talented striker with a fresh start and a chance to reclaim his form on both the domestic and international stages.
