Childless Comment: Oshiomhole Must Apologise To His Mother, Daughters – Senator Uzamere

Senator (Arc) Ehigie Uzamere reviews Senator Adams Oshiomhole’s antecedents in the public space and situates his recent taunt of Governor and Mrs Godwin Obaseki as being childless as fitting the pattern of loquaciousness that is unbefitting of a man of his stature and age.

It is shocking and disheartening that Oshiomhole could be so uncouth as to taunt Gov Obaseki and the wife of being childless. I wonder if Oshiomhole knows that it is God that gives children.

Oshiomhole should not be in a hurry to forget the story of Uche Offia-Nwali, who lost his wife and all his children in a plane crash.

May God forgive Oshiomhole, his sin of being overtly garrulous. What was Mrs Betsy Obaseki’s crime? Her assertion that the office of governor needs a man with a wife, who will ensure that Edo women are not left of government. What is wrong with that assertion?

Oshiomhole, Nigerians know you as an unguided missile. You abuse at will. Is there any Nigerian who has had dealings with you that you have not abused.

I will not be surprised if you have abused your mother. Why do you think you were sacked as chairman of APC? Because of your uncouth behaviour and penchant to be abusive.

I don’t know if you are aware that you have long lost the respect many Nigerians had for you, including your constituency, the Labour.

Mrs Betsy Obaseki addressed governorship candidates who are not known to be married. Are you on the ballot? Or are you their spokesperson? This goes to show that you are looking for another shot at Osadebey Avenue.

It also shows that you do not want any other person to rise to prominence in APC in Edo State. If you don’t know, please wake up to the fact that you can never be the political leader of Edo State. You can only be the leader of your faction of APC in Edo State.

Do you ever think about your life? You were less than 90 days old in the hallowed red chamber when you were asked to tender apologies or be suspended because of your use of uncouth language that is not acceptable in the Red Hallow Chamber.

You had no choice but to apologize before your colleagues. Are you aware that that was a national disgrace?

I urge you to tender unreserved public apology to Mrs Betsy Obaseki and all women, including your daughters and your aged mother.

You are not the only ex-Gov of Edo State, nor are you the only ex-Gov of Edo State that is a member of APC. Chief John Odigie Oyegun and Prof Osarhiemen Osunbor are ex-Governors and members of APC. Chief Lucky Igbinedion is also an ex-Gov.

They are all alive and like mature, responsible men, play politics behind the scenes. But your loquacious nature would not allow you to grow up. Think of how old you really are, and behave your age.
