Prominent Nollywood Actress Wails Over Petrol Price Hike
Prominent Nollywood Actress, Destiny Etiko, has wailed in reaction to the recent Increase in the price of fuel by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL).
Destiny Etiko who reacted via her Instagram handle @ ‘destinyetikoofficial’ on Wednesday, said she thought the hunger protest staged in August, will salvage the economic hardship in the country.
Destiny Etiko wrote, “Fuel is now #1200. What is going on BIKONU? I Honestly thought the protest was going to help salvage this economic hardship in this country
“It’s becoming too hard for a Normal Layman to eat three square meal. Niger which way💔”

GWG.ng reports that the NNPC on Tuesday increased the price of petrol from N617 to N855 per litre.
The move by the NNPC has since stirred reactions from many Nigerians who have expressed fears on how they will cope with the development, amid the economic hardship being witnessed in the country.
