Nollywood actor Ibrahim Chatta has been met with an outpouring of support from his colleagues after announcing the death of one of his beloved horses.

The actor, who owns a film village complete with horses, shared a heartfelt video on social media where he was seen mourning the loss of the horse, named Arewa.

In the emotional post, Ibrahim reflected on life’s fleeting nature, saying, “God giveth, God taketh… Rest well, Arewa the Horse. AlhamduliLlah.”

His colleagues and fans quickly flooded his comment section with words of comfort, offering their condolences during this tough time.

The actor’s passion for horses has been well-documented. In June, he made headlines after threatening to take legal action against one of his staff members who had injured one of his horses. He described the incident as animal cruelty and made it clear he would press charges unless social media users stepped in with a resolution.

On a lighter note, Ibrahim Chatta recently shared a playful moment with fellow Nollywood star Toyin Abraham during her visit to his film village. Chatta teased Toyin about her weight and tummy, jokingly advising her not to eat too much. Toyin, in her defence, revealed she had lost weight and humorously mentioned that she was only chewing gum at the time.

As Ibrahim grieves his loss, he continues to be surrounded by the love and support of his colleagues and fans.
