Nollywood Star Becomes Plumber In Canada (Video)

Popular Nigerian actor and movie producer Chris Bassey has left the entertainment industry to pursue a new career in plumbing.

Chris shared this information while talking about his new life in Canada. During an Instagram live chat with Daddy Freeze, Chris explained that working in plumbing now gives him more money than some tech jobs adding that he also enjoys a more relaxed lifestyle.

During the chat, Daddy Freeze asked him, “I know you as a producer and actor, what career are you into in this Yankee?”

Chris responded simply, “I’m into construction here.”

Daddy Freeze was surprised by Chris’s decision to switch careers, especially given his success and fame in Nigeria.

In response, Chris explained in Pidgin, “In the last seven months, the places I’ve visited just on weekends in Canada, even people working in tech can’t afford it. Here, I don’t know about the UK or US.”
