Madam President! Kamala Harris Traps Trump In Presidential Debate (Video)

Kamala Harris and Donald Trump threw accusations in a feisty debate that brought out celebrations from the part of the Democratic Presidential Candidate who have been celebrating on X with the hashtag #Madam President.

GWG.ng reports that the historic outing that saw an incumbent vice-president debate a former president for the first time saw Harris promise to take America to a promising future and not the past she claimed that Trump was insistent on foisting on America.

Trump, however, countered her in his closing argument asking her why she had not been able to do all that she has promised in the three and half years she has been vice-president.

The duo battled over the withdrawal from Afghanistan with Harris fuming that Trump as president met with the Taliban even as the former president chastised the incumbent for blowing the withdrawal from Afghanistan.

As the debate commenced with economic issues, Trump was able to push himself in the ascendancy with his command of the issues but was sooner baited by Harris who pulled herself on issues relating to abortion and other social issues.

Harris was able to match Trump in the use of hard words lampooning his relationship with President Putin of Russia, saying “ Putin is a dictator who will eat you for lunch.”

Trump on his part repeated his phrase of Harris as being the “the worst vice-president in history” in a debate that many are judging as having been won by the vice-president.

GWG.ng reports that no political rival had been able to debate and perhaps quiet Donald Trump in the way that Harris did in Pennsylvania on Tuesday night.

However, there was a consensus among many Republicans that the debate was a trap for Trump as the moderators were accused of bias against him.
