Mystery As Nigerian Family Vanishes During Lagos To Calabar Journey
Yakubu Ndahi and his family left Lagos for Calabar, Cross River State, on August 10 in their private vehicle but never arrived at their destination drawing concern from several concerned individuals on what could have happened.
A family from Lagos, Yakubu Ndahi, his wife Ann Lady Yakubu, and their young son, has been reported missing.
According to DAILY POST, Yakubu and his family left Lagos for Calabar, Cross River State, on August 10 in their private vehicle but never arrived at their destination.
Ann’s elder sister, Blessing Alechenu, told DAILY POST on Thursday that she last heard from the couple around 2 p.m. while they were still near Onitsha, Anambra State.
The family grew worried when Yakubu and his family did not reach Calabar as expected. Since August 10, all attempts to contact them have failed, with their phone numbers turned off.
Blessing Alechenu explained, “They left Lagos for Calabar on the 10th of this month. I was chatting with my sister while they were on their way. They were around Onitsha when I last heard from them. As of 6 to 7 p.m., their numbers were ringing but they didn’t pick up. After a few hours, their phones were off, and we haven’t been able to reach them since.”
She also mentioned that the matter has been reported to the Lagos State Police Command.
