The news of their passing was first shared by Instagram blogger, Cutie Juls, who reported that Chioma died immediately after the explosion, while George, who initially survived, tragically passed away on September 11, 2024, despite efforts to save his life.

Patoranking, known for his close bond with his sister, reportedly went to great lengths to help his brother-in-law, including purchasing large quantities of blood to aid his recovery. Unfortunately, George could not be saved, leaving their child orphaned.

The tragic news came shortly after Patoranking celebrated his daughter’s sixth birthday, where he expressed his deep love and admiration for her. The devastating loss of his sister and brother-in-law has left the singer in a difficult and emotional state.

Cutie Juls, in the announcement, urged Patoranking’s friends and colleagues in the industry to reach out and offer support during this trying time.

Her post read: “Remember when I posted last week or so that Patoranking’s sister passed away in a gas explosion incident in their home, and the husband and child were battling for their lives? Sadly, the husband couldn’t make it, he just passed away. Patoranking tried so hard, buying tons of blood to save his brother-in-law, hoping his nephew wouldn’t be born an orphan. He loves his sister so much. Please, his friends should check up on him.”
