Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B has welcomed her third child with estranged husband Offset. The couple, known for their often turbulent relationship, celebrated the arrival of a baby girl on Saturday, September 7th. Despite their ups and downs, this new addition to their family brings joy during a time of separation.

Cardi B shared the happy news with her 137 million Instagram followers by posting a heartfelt photo from the hospital. In the image, she was seen holding and breastfeeding her newborn. She captioned the post, “The prettiest lil thing 🌸🌸 9/7/24 💖,” which also revealed the birth date of the baby.

This news comes only weeks after Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset, citing irreconcilable differences. However, the couple appears to be united in their happiness over the birth of their child, despite their separation. A source close to them mentioned that Cardi B was induced and gave birth over the weekend.

Offset, whose real name is Kiari Cephus, is already a father to several children from previous relationships, including his sons Jordan, 14, and Kody, 8, as well as his daughter Kalea Marie, 9. Together, Cardi B and Offset are also parents to their daughter Kulture Kiari, born in July 2018, and their son Wave Set, born in September 2021.

Cardi B, whose full name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, proudly embraces her Afro-Latina heritage, with roots in both Dominican and Trinidadian descent. She first gained attention through her social media presence on Vine and Instagram before achieving massive fame with her breakout hit “Bodak Yellow” in 2017.
