Cubana Chief Priest’s popular restaurant and bar, Donald’s Fast Food, has reopened for business just days after being sealed by the Lagos State Government over environmental violations, including noise pollution.

A video circulating on social media captured the moment the establishment, located in Lekki Phase 1, was reopened. In the video, workers were seen resuming activities at the once-shut premises.

The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) had sealed the facility earlier, citing repeated warnings and abatement notices that were ignored by the restaurant management. The closure, announced by the Lagos State Commissioner for Environment, Tokunbo Wahab, sparked mixed reactions online, with some commending the government for upholding environmental laws, while others expressed disappointment over the incident.

The quick reopening of the restaurant has been met with a wave of excitement from loyal customers and supporters of Cubana Chief Priest, a prominent socialite and businessman.

It remains unclear if the reopening followed corrective measures taken to address the environmental concerns raised by LASEPA. However, the swift resolution suggests efforts were made to comply with the government’s requirements.
