Music Mogul, Diddy Combs Arrested In New York

American rapper and music mogul, Sean “Diddy” Combs, was arrested by federal agents on Monday night at a Manhattan hotel in New York, according to multiple sources.

The surprise apprehension reportedly took place at the hotel where Diddy Combs had been staying for several weeks.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office in New York confirmed the arrest, revealing that it was based on a sealed indictment from the Southern District of New York. Although the exact charges remain undisclosed, authorities are expected to unseal the indictment in the coming days.

Diddy’s legal representative, Marc Agnifilo, expressed dismay over the arrest, emphasizing that his client had been fully cooperative with the investigation. Agnifilo also highlighted Diddy Combs’ long-standing reputation as a successful entrepreneur, philanthropist, and family man, while firmly denying any criminal wrongdoing.

“We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office,” Agnifilo said in a statement. “He is an imperfect person but he is not a criminal. Mr. Combs has been fully cooperative with this investigation and voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges. Please reserve judgment until all the facts are revealed. These are the actions of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”

The arrest comes in the wake of a series of lawsuits filed against Diddy Combs, including one last week alleging sexual misconduct. In November, Combs settled a lawsuit with his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, though the details of the settlement remain confidential.

Combs has consistently denied all allegations, and his legal team remains steadfast in their defense as they prepare for the upcoming legal battle.
