Nigerian comedian-turned-pastor, Woli Arole, has addressed the growing trend of skepticism among Nigerians regarding supernatural events, especially in the wake of viral testimonies from the Lord’s Chosen Church.

The intervention by Woli Arole came days after the Lord’s Chosen Church become the subject of online discussions due to unusual and seemingly unrealistic testimonies shared by its members.

In a heartfelt message on his Instagram page, Woli Arole directed his words to “woke” Nigerians who often mock anything spiritual. He urged them to take the supernatural seriously, highlighting that life is more spiritual than many realize.

He wrote: “A letter to my generation: I see a lot of assumed WOKE people, that love to mock anything SUPERNATURAL. See, I pray you don’t enter trouble before you realize that life is SPIRITUAL! Your OPINIONS or CRUISE doesn’t change the TRUTH! Can you hear me at the back?”

However, his statement on the Chosen testimonies seems not to have gone down well with some netizens who rushed to the comment section to criticize Woli Arole for making such statement while some applause him for standing by the truth.
