Nigerian artiste Paul Okoye, known as Rudeboy from the duo P-Square, has made it clear that he is still committed to separating from his twin brother, Peter Okoye.

Recall that P-Square initially split in 2017 due to a disagreement between the brothers. They did reunite briefly in November 2021, but that reconciliation did not last long.

Recently, Paul accused Peter of being behind his arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), a claim that Peter has denied. Instead, Peter accused their older brother, Jude Okoye, of taking millions of dollars from their joint account to a secret company.

In response to these allegations, Jude stated that he has tried everything to heal the rift between his brothers, even claiming to have “sacrificed himself” for their relationship.

In an Instagram live session that went viral, Paul expressed his frustration about his previous role in P-Square. He said he felt he did most of the work while others enjoyed the benefits. Paul emphasized that he will continue to focus on his solo career instead of going back to the group.

“Those days monkey dey work, baboon dey chop, I no dey do again,” he stated in Pidgin English. “So I would rather continue working for myself. Every time, only me dey sing all the songs. I no dey do again.”
