Davido On The Spot Over Double Standards On INEC
A social media user has criticized Davido’s recent tweet labeling the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as “the most dangerous institution in Nigeria.”
The netizen pointed out Davido’s apparent double standards, noting that INEC wasn’t considered “dangerous” when his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, won the Osun governorship election. “INEC wasn’t dangerous when Adeleke won in Osun. When it’s not favoring David, INEC becomes dangerous,” the user wrote.
The comment implies that Davido’s criticism of INEC is selective and motivated by personal interests rather than a genuine concern for electoral integrity.
The user also referenced biblical history, jokingly suggesting that if David from the Bible had exhibited similar behavior, he wouldn’t be known as “a man after God’s own heart.”
