How Manchester City Narrowly Escaped Defeat From Visiting Arsenal
English premiership champions, Manchester City escaped home defeat after a last-minute goal by John Stones brought them to level 2-2 with visiting Arsenal.
GWG.ng reports that Arsenal led 2-1 into the break and just about the break lost Leandro Trossard following a rough tackle.
City had opened scoring in the ninth minute through Earling Harland but Arsenal equallised through Riccardo Callifori in the 22nd minute and went ahead in the first half of the extra time through Gabriel.
City pressed throughout the second half and only pressed home the equaliser in the last minute of the seven-minute extra-time.
