VeryDarkMan Explains Decision To Reject EFCC Invitation (Video)

In a bold and defiant move, social media activist, VeryDarkMan, has publicly declined the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s (EFCC) invitation for questioning over his recent claims regarding an alleged N15 million bribe involving controversial crossdresser, Bobrisky, and some EFCC officers.

In a video shared on his Instagram account on the EFCC invitation, VeryDarkMan expressed his deep mistrust of the anti-graft agency, stating firmly, “I will not come, I don’t trust you.” He went on to demand that the EFCC should first launch an internal investigation into its officers accused of collecting the N15 million bribe from Bobrisky to drop money laundering charges against him.

Questioning the rationale behind the invitation, VeryDarkMan raised concerns over why the EFCC asked him to appear in Lagos instead of its Abuja headquarters, which he deemed more appropriate for such a high-profile investigation. He expressed skepticism about the commission’s motives, suggesting that the focus should be on probing their own staff rather than calling him in for questioning.

“If you want me to come, book a first-class flight for me,” he added sarcastically, while asserting that he cannot afford to pay his way out of legal trouble like Bobrisky allegedly did.

“I don’t have 15 million naira to pay like Bobrisky in case they decide to rope me in and throw me in prison,” he stated. He also emphasized his willingness to appear if the invitation is to the Abuja headquarters, but not Lagos.

VeryDarkMan’s public refusal to comply with the EFCC’s invitation adds another drama to the ongoing saga, which has set the social media abuzz. His initial accusation, where he claimed Bobrisky bribed the EFCC with N15 million to avoid jail, has already went viral, prompting the EFCC to launch an investigation into the matter.
