Bobrisky Bribery Saga: VeryDarkMan Opens Up On Meeting With Minister of Interior (Video)
Popular social media influencer Martins Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, has revealed details of his meeting with Nigeria’s Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, amidst the ongoing controversy surrounding an audio clip he released.
The meeting with Tunji-Ojo came after VeryDarkMan in a viral audio alleged that Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky, paid ₦15 million in bribes to officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to drop money laundering charges against him. Bobrisky also claimed that he bribed officials of the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS) to avoid serving time in prison.
Following these serious allegations, the Nigerian government took swift action, suspending two NCoS officers suspected of being involved in the scandal.
VeryDarkMan, in a video posted on Instagram, he expressed his satisfaction with the suspension of the officers and praised Minister Tunji-Ojo for his decisive action in addressing the issue. He reaffirmed his commitment to fighting for a better Nigeria, describing the meeting with the minister as a step in the right direction.
Speaking about his interaction with the Minister, VeryDarkMan said: “The Honourable Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has proven himself to me before, so I was just relaxed, watching. And boom! He did it again with the suspension of the officers involved in the whole Bobrisky saga. Much love, Egbon. It’s a fight to make Nigeria a better place, and we will definitely achieve that with our own little efforts. Keep that fire burning.”
