BREAKING: Tinubu Makes 7 New Appointments

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of seven executive directors for the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).

The appointment of the new directors for the NTA was announced in a statement released on Friday by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

The newly appointed executive directors include a mix of reappointments and fresh faces with various expertise in media, law, finance, and marketing.

1.Ayo Adewuyi – Reappointed as Executive Director, News. He retains his position, reflecting the administration’s confidence in his ability to continue managing the news segment effectively.

2. Barrister Ibrahim AAliy – Appointed as Executive Director, Special Duties. He is a legal practitioner with a track record in handling complex legal matters.

3. Malam Muhammed Fatuhu Mustapha – Appointed as Executive Director, Administration and Training. He brings administrative expertise to the role, with a focus on enhancing staff training and development.

4. Mrs. Apinke Effiong – Appointed as Executive Director, Finance. She is recognized for her financial marketing skills, treasury management, and proficiency in management accounting and reporting.

5. Mrs. Tari Taylaur – Appointed as Executive Director, Programme. She is an experienced audio/visual creator, producer, and showrunner known for her innovative programming strategies.

6. Mr. Sadique Musa Omeiza – Appointed as Executive Director, EEngineerin. He brings extensive engineering experience, ensuring the technical backbone of NTA remains strong and up-to-date.

7. Mrs. Oluwakemi Fashina – Appointed as Executive Director, Marketing. An integrated marketing communications professional and chartered marketer, she is expected to revamp NTA’s marketing strategies and partnerships.

This latest round of appointments reflects President Tinubu’s commitment to revitalizing NTA by positioning experienced professionals to drive the organization forward.
