Former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo, has offered words of prayer and goodwill to Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder of Living Faith Church, on the occasion of his 70th birthday.

In a post shared on social media, on Saturday, Obasanjo congratulated Bishop Oyedepo for reaching this significant milestone and welcomed him into the “club of septuagenarians.” He also expressed his intention to continue celebrating future milestones with Oyedepo.

Reflecting on the years ahead, Obasanjo humorously remarked that he would attend Oyedepo’s 80th birthday when the clergyman becomes an octogenarian and would also be present when he turns 90.

He concluded by saying that after Oyedepo reaches 90, he will leave him in the hands of God.

Obasanjo’s message read: “Today you are joining the club of septuagenarians; from septuagenarian, you will become an octogenarian, and I will be here. From octogenarian, you will become a nonagenarian, and I will be here. After that, I will leave you alone, and God will be with you.”

This message from the former president shows the deep respect and longstanding relationship between the two prominent figures, as Oyedepo continues to be a significant spiritual leader in Nigeria and beyond.
