Controversy Over Fubara’s Plan For Wike’s Psychatric Treatment (Video)
Governor Siminalyi Fubara of Rivers State is under focus for inputting psychiatric treatment for his erstwhile godfather, Nyesom Wike and using the church as a platform for political assault.
Controversy was on Monday trailing the scheme by Governor Siminalayi Fubara to prepare a psychiatric hospital for his political enemies ostensibly including treatment for his former political godfather, Nyesom Wike.
Speaking during a church thanksgiving service to mark the nation’s 64th Independence Anniversary in Port-Harcourt, Governor Fubara while commenting on the deliverables made by his administration had lambasted his political enemies for questioning his achievements in the last year.
While he refrained from mentioning Wike by name, the insinuation of psychiatric treatment for the former governor was inputted as he compared his government with that of “their government” which preceded his.
He said:
“It is this same Fubara that is building a General Hospital, which I also included a Psychiatric Hospital because they will need it very soon. So, tell them that what I did in 1 year is what they did in 8 years.
“It is only empty container that makes noise. If God has given you opportunity, eat your plantain and keep quiet. God will continue to give us the strength to do the best for our people, without fear.”
