Earlier in February, Davido’s bouncer, Lati, faced backlash after assaulting a fan, later compensating the fan with ₦200,000 and offering an apology.

Reacting to the incident involving Asake, actress Anita Joseph expressed her dismay, calling the singer’s actions unfair and questioning what could have triggered such behavior.

Skitmaker and content creator, Mr. Macaroni, also weighed in, describing the incident as “condemnable and dehumanizing.” While he urged fans to respect celebrities’ privacy, he also emphasized that celebrities must treat their fans with respect and dignity, as respect is always reciprocal.
