Mohbad: Prominent Actor Flees Nigeria After Failed Assassination (Video)

Popular Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has left Nigeria after surviving an alleged assassination attempt.
He shared this information following his absence at the coroner’s court for the late singer Mohbad and the canceled protest he had planned at the Lagos State Assembly on September 30, 2024.
Fabiyi had intended to hold a protest on the same day that the coroner resumed its investigation into Mohbad’s death. However, he later explained that he could not attend because his life was in danger after escaping an assassination attempt just two days prior.
In a controversial video on his Instagram page, Fabiyi, who is currently in hiding, revealed that there was a plot against him related to Mohbad’s case. He stated, “I escaped assassination two days ago and they still planned to kill me tonight. If they had succeeded, I would have been buried tomorrow.”
He added, “They will now waste me all because I’m fighting for Justice. I didn’t collect money from anybody. I am just doing my own for God. I have to run for my life. I just left Nigeria unplanned, and as it is now, I don’t even know my destination.”
