Overwhelmed Bobrisky Takes New Vow!

Popular Nigerian cross-dresser and social media personality, Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky, has announced a new personal mantra of silence following her or his clash with Vincent Otise, widely known as VeryDarkMan (VDM).

In a post shared on his or her Instagram story, Bobrisky informed fans and followers that she or he has chosen silence as a personal response to any form of disrespect going forward. The controversial internet figure stated that he or she would no longer engage in arguments, react to provocations, or dive into any kind of drama. Instead, his or her strategy will be to quietly withdraw from situations that may spark controversy.

“Silence is my new answer to disrespect! I no longer react. I no longer argue and I no longer dive into drama. I simply remove my presence,” Bobrisky wrote on the new personal approach of silence to attacks.

This development comes on the heels of a heated dispute involving Bobrisky and VDM. The latter had earlier released an audio clip on Instagram, in which Bobrisky allegedly claimed that officers of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) collected N15 million to drop money laundering charges against him. Bobrisky also mentioned that a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and his son had assured him that the charges would be dismissed and he would avoid prison time.

VeryDarkMan further accused Nigerian rapper Falz and his father, renowned human rights lawyer Femi Falana, of being behind Bobrisky’s legal ordeal. However, both Falz and his father quickly denied the allegations and threatened legal action unless an apology was issued.

In response to the viral audio, Bobrisky took to Instagram to refute the claims, asserting that the recording was fake and that she or he did not bribe any EFCC officials. She or he also clarified that he had served his time in prison, dispelling rumors of having paid her or his way out of the charges.

The EFCC’s spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, has since announced that the commission’s investigative team will thoroughly look into the allegations made in the viral audio, signaling potential further developments in the case.

With his new motto of silence, Bobrisky appears determined to stay above the fray, distancing himself from the ongoing drama that has gripped social media.

GWG.ng reports that the new vow of silence adopted by Bobrisky is strange to his or her loud personal of talking back to critics.
