Architect Chris Oyakhilome Unveils New Design For Christ Embassy Hdqtrs (Video)

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, President of the Loveworld Nation, a trained architect, has officially revealed the new design for the Loveworld Convocation Arena (LCA) of Christ Embassy, which will replace the one destroyed by fire earlier this year.

The announcement was made during a church service on Sunday, October 6, 2024, with the design displayed on a large screen for the congregation by Architect Oyakhilome.

In a video circulating on social media, Pastor Oyakhilome was seen addressing the excited church members, presenting the modern architectural design of the new building. The congregation erupted in cheers and appreciation as they witnessed the promise of a grander replacement for the LCA taking shape.

This development comes months after the original Christ Embassy headquarters, located in the Oregun area of Ikeja, Lagos State, was gutted by a massive fire on June 23. The incident, which went viral on social media, showed flames and smoke engulfing the building. At the time, Pastor Oyakhilome reassured his congregation that he would provide a replacement that would surpass the glory of the old structure.

True to his word, the new design is expected to be an upgraded version of the iconic LCA, with cutting-edge features and facilities aimed at serving the congregation and the global Christ Embassy community.

GWG.ng cannot confirm if Architect Oyakhilome was personally involved in the design especially given that he has not practised since he left the Edo State University in the eighties.

Officials from the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service had responded to the June fire, preventing further damage, but the building was heavily affected. The latest design reveals that Christ Embassy is not just rebuilding but aiming for something even more remarkable.

The unveiling of the new LCA marks a significant step forward for the Loveworld Nation as they look toward the future with hope and anticipation, staying true to their mission of spreading the gospel and uplifting their members.
