Facing Legal Threat, Bobrisky Disowns VeryDarkMan’s Audio Tape On Falana
Crossdresser Idris Okuneye, known as Bobrisky, has addressed allegations of paying the Falana family for a presidential pardon during her or his imprisonment. This response came after the Falana family issued a 24-hour ultimatum for a public apology regarding accusations made in a viral audio clip.
In his Instagram statement, Bobrisky firmly stated, “I OKUNEYE Idris aka BOBRISKY didn’t give Falz or his father any money for pardon. As a matter of fact, no penny was given to them. Have said this before and I will say it again. The person that published an audio online should take full responsibility for what he posted in public. My lawyer will respond to any further information the public wants to know about this ongoing issue trending on social media.”
The audio clip, released by VeryDarkMan, allegedly captured discussions about Bobrisky attempting to secure a presidential pardon through financial means. In one recording, a man claimed to have asked musician Falz for assistance in persuading his father, Femi Falana, to grant the pardon in exchange for N10 million. The same individual also mentioned requesting N3 million from Falz for better treatment at Kirikiri Correctional Centre.
In a second audio clip, someone purportedly claiming to be Bobrisky stated he had paid N5 million to a Senior Advocate of Nigeria to obtain a government pardon for charges related to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Despite the claims in the audio recordings, Bobrisky maintains his innocence and insists he has not engaged in any of the alleged activities.
